Our Story
Mr. Griffiths, in 1928
In the heart of the Welsh Valleys in 1928, Mr. Griffiths from Pontypridd began creating meals for his dogs.
He found that using the right blend of protein (meat sourced from Jones' family Butchers), wholegrain cereals (from arable farmers in the South Glamorgan region) and vitamins and minerals (purchased from Chemists in the Rhondda Valley) made for a balanced diet; ensuring his dogs were in peak condition.
The Second Generation
His son, Martin, followed in these footsteps, producing small-batch food for his kennel of Whippets, Spaniels and German Shorthaired Pointers.
The diets were perfectly suited for the active and working lives they led. Between looking after the dogs and converting a listed farmhouse in the Welsh countryside, the Griffiths' story remained within the confines of the local community.
Third Generation & Today
Fast forward to today, where we, the 3rd generation of the Griffiths' legacy, are taking these verysame recipes to the rest of the sporting dog world.
